And if you are wondering where the name “Guns and Donuts” comes from: A good friend of mine and I were driving through the country on our way to East Texas and passed a place that sold…guns….and donuts. I figured some redneck won the lotto and opened up a dream business – for a moment I thought about stopping and picking up a 9mm glock and a chocolate donut with sprinkles but then I realized that was ridiculous. Only an eclair pairs nicely with a 9mm glock and I couldn’t afford the calories.
